Attendance Policy

The attendance policy at Afaq Al-Takamul Training Center aims to clarify the organizational procedures related to synchronous online attendance. Synchronous online attendance refers to the trainee’s virtual presence in live virtual classrooms and confirms their real-time participation in the session. Therefore, the following policies and procedures have been established for synchronous online attendance:

Attendance Policies

  • Attendance in remote training programs is equivalent to physical attendance. According to the regulations of accrediting bodies, all procedures regarding attendance and absence are audited as follows:

  • The minimum required attendance hours for the trainee must not be less than 25% of the synchronous sessions.

  • Participants are not allowed to be absent from the remote training program, whether during training sessions or training days.

  • Attendance hours for asynchronous programs are considered equivalent to regular attendance hours.

  • In blended learning programs (virtual or in-person) that exceed one month in duration, at least 25% of the program hours must be delivered via synchronous virtual sessions.

  • All participants are required to adhere to the training schedule set in the program timeline.

  • Trainees must attend no less than 25% of the total hours allocated to the registered program.

Attendance and Absence Tracking Mechanism

Attendance and absence are tracked, documented, and monitored according to the following procedures:

  • If the trainee fails to meet the minimum approved percentage for synchronous online attendance, the following actions will be taken:

Excused Absences:

Medical excuses will be accepted only upon submission of a medical report issued by a recognized medical facility. All medical reports must be submitted to the course supervisor or designated specialty supervisor.

Unexcused Absences:

Failure to meet the minimum 25% attendance requirement without a valid excuse will result in the trainee being considered as not having attended the program and being denied the training certificate.

This attendance policy applies to all trainees enrolled at the center. The center is committed to ensuring the implementation of this policy, and all staff members are also required to adhere to it. Any violation of this policy may result in disciplinary action according to the procedures followed at the center.

Reports

Monthly and periodic reports are submitted by the attendance and absence coordinator at the center, with full confidentiality maintained regarding trainee information.
